Da die Regierungen verschiedener Gesellschaften die Bedürfnisse heranwachsender Mädchen übersehen haben und dabei die Tatsache ignorieren, dass sie die Entwicklungssäule von morgen sind, empfiehlt dieses Buch die dringende Notwendigkeit, wirksame Forschungsstudien, Strategien, Präventions- und Interventionsprogramme zu konzipieren und umzusetzen, um die Feinheiten im Zusammenhang mit Prostitution, Drogenkonsum und Kriminalität unter heranwachsenden Mädchen in einer Vielzahl von Gesellschaften weltweit zu bewältigen.
