System można skonfigurować w różnych językach i zgodnie z potrzebami każdej instytucji. W związku z tym celem było przejrzenie bibliografii i dostosowanie AVA Chamilo do potrzeb Federalnego Instytutu Edukacji i Technologii w Tocantins (IFTO), tak aby dostosować go do jego potrzeb i zapewnić użytkownikom kształcenia na odległość alternatywny system o dobrej użyteczności. Dostosowanie obejmowało zmiany związane z wymianą logo, kolorami platformy, dodaniem filmów, linków i wiadomości oraz ograniczeniem liczby języków do portugalskiego, angielskiego i hiszpańskiego.
