Bales, 1955: Family Socialization and Interaction Process, Glencoe. 2) Die nachfolgenden Ausführungen des ersten Teils dieser Arbeit stellen eine überar­ beitete Fassung eines Aufsatzes dar, der in dem von mir herausgegebenen Sammel­ band ’Pragmatische Soziologie’ (Opladen, 1988) erschienen ist. 3) Dubin (1960) unterscheidet in seiner Explikation des Parsons’schen Ansatzes fol­ gende Elemente einer Handlung: 1. Handelnde (Personen oder Kollektive). 2. Mo­ dalitäten der Objekte der Handlung. 3. Bewertung der Objekte seitens der Handelnden. 4. Orientierungen des HandeInden gegenüber den Objekten. 5. Art der Objekte. Bei diesen Unterscheidungen werden die ’pattern variables’, die von mir als Arten der Handlungsorientierung aufgefaBt werden, unter Punkt 3 subsu­ miert. Dabei wird allerdings die Dichotomie ’Leistung -Zuschreibung’ fallengelas­ sen, da sie bei der Differenzierung der Modalitäten der Objekte wieder auftaucht. Dubin unterscheidet daher lediglich 4 Dichotomien der Handlungsorientierung.
