Des dels primers moblistes als actuals dissenyadors i empreses s’ha fomentat el disseny, la producció i comercialització de mobiliari. Tot i això, no es troben publicacions que tractin de l’estat actual i en català. Guillem Ferran, coordinador de disseny de producte a l’Escola Llotja, proposa una guia formada de tres capítols: dades del sector, continguts i procediments, per tal de dissenyar projectes de disseny de mobiliari. Tota una eina per a convertir-se en dissenyador de mobiliari.
