La experiencia como docentes de los primeros ciclos de enseñanza, nos ha mostrado y demostrado que habitualmente los niños y las niñas presentan falencias en lo que tiene que ver con la articulación (pronunciación) de fonemas, de sílabas y de palabras, lo cual acarrea dificultades en la comunicación, plasmándose en errores en el acto lectoescritor. El objetivo de este libro es abordar los órganos y funcionamiento del aparato vocal implicados en el desarrollo del lenguaje y presentar las denominadas Dislalias Funcionales, enfatizando en sus orígenes, sus causas, la forma de diferenciarlas de otros errores de articulación (pronunciación), la manera de evaluar su existencia y los modos de realizar una intervención priMaría a fin de corregirlas.Tambiénse plantean las formas de corregir los errores de pronunciación que usualmente presentan los educandos, mediante una serie de actividades que favorezcan su proceso comunicativo, el de aprehendizaje-aprendizaje y construcción del conocimiento, y su proceso de desarrollo integral. 10
