So in order to measure the concentration of these metal ions, a chemical analyzer named Digital Flame Photometer has been used. It is also known as Photoelectric Flame Photometer. This device is particularly used to determine the concentration of certain metal ions such as sodium, potassium, calcium, and lithium. In this device, the concentration is expressed as Parts Per Million (PPM).
