Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2004 im Fachbereich Soziale Arbeit / Sozialarbeit, Note: 2,3, Evangelische Hochschule Berlin, Veranstaltung: Spektrum der Drogenproblematik und Interventionsmöglichkeiten, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Case- Management in der Suchtkrankenhilfe wurde fünf Jahre lang von 1995 - 2000 in Deutschland erprobt und hat diese Probephase mit Erfolg bestanden. Wobei nicht zuletzt zu erwähnen bleibt, dass Case- Management sich in unterschiedlichen Wohlfahrtsstaaten bewiesen hat.1 Zum einen bewährte sich Case- Management beispielsweise in den USA2 und zum anderen, wie erwähnt, in Deutschland 3. Bezeichnend hierbei ist, dass Case- Management einerseits in einem liberalen Wohlfahrtsstaat4 und andererseits in einem konservativem Wohlfahrtsstaat5 seine Tauglichkeit zeigte. Womit Case- Management kein politisches Mittel zu sein scheint. Was Case- Management in der Suchtkrankenhilfe jedoch im speziellen ist, wird nachfolgend anhand der Definition der Begriffe und der näheren Beschreibung der Herangehensweise des Case- Managements dargelegt.
