In zehn Jahren Forschung über die Infektion mit dem Humanen Immundefizienz-Virus (HIV) in Kinshasa wurden mehrere wissenschaftliche Artikel veröffentlicht, die auf Konferenzen oder öffentlichen Seminaren vorgestellt wurden. Von den 104 Artikeln in dieser Sammlung wurden 88 in englischsprachigen wissenschaftlichen Zeitschriften veröffentlicht, während 16 auf Französisch erschienen sind. Zweiundneunzig Artikel wurden mit drei oder mehr Autoren veröffentlicht, während 12 Artikel mit weniger als drei Autoren veröffentlicht wurden. Die am stärksten vertretene Institution in Bezug auf die Zugehörigkeit des Erstautors ist die Universität Kinshasa mit 57 Veröffentlichungen, gefolgt von Forschungsverbänden und/oder -gruppen und anderen Universitäten in der Stadt. Die am häufigsten präsentierten Forschungsbereiche sind die Medizinischen Wissenschaften, gefolgt von den Sozialwissenschaften und den Erziehungswissenschaften mit jeweils 3 Veröffentlichungen. Zweiundvierzig Artikel stammen aus interinstitutionellen Kooperationen auf lokaler Ebene, während 56 Artikel aus internationalen Kooperationen stammen.
