Warum sollen CO2-Emissionen gesenkt werden, ein für das Pflanzenleben unverzichtbares und unersetzliches Gas? Warum gegen die Begrünung der Erde kämpfen? Das Klima verändert sich tatsächlich mit abwechselnden Perioden der Erwärmung und Abkühlung alle 30 Jahre, wie von Klimaindikatoren belegt: Meereis, Meeresspiegel, ARGO-Bojen, die seit 1880 gemessene globale Durchschnittstemperatur und seit 1979 noch genauer durch Satelliten. Sobald natürliche Zyklen aus den Beobachtungen herausgerechnet werden, liegt der anthropogene Beitrag zum Klimawandel deutlich unter gefährlichen Werten, was mit Infrarotstudien zur Absorption von Treibhausgasen und der zuletzt veröffentlichten Klimasensitivität übereinstimmt.
