Es hat sich gezeigt, dass diese emotionale Arbeit mehrdeutige Zusammenhänge mit dem Wohlbefinden der Pflegekräfte aufweist. Wir möchten betonen, dass der Umgang mit Emotionen bei Patienten weder negativ noch positiv ist. Der Schwerpunkt dieser Arbeit liegt darauf, wie Pflegekräfte mit ihrer emotionalen Bindung zu Patienten umgehen. Empathie und emotionale Dissonanz sind zwei unterschiedliche Zustände, die bei der emotionalen Arbeit eine Rolle spielen. Wir untersuchen, welche Rolle Empathie und emotionale Dissonanz dabei spielen, die Lebensqualität der Pflegekräfte zu fördern (oder nicht).
