Die Forschung befasst sich mit der Eingliederung autistischer Kinder in Regelschulen. Das allgemeine Ziel bestand darin, aufzuzeigen, wie diese Eingliederung erfolgt, wobei folgende Aspekte im Mittelpunkt standen: der Beitrag von Hilfstechnologien zur Eingliederung von Kindern mit Autismus-Spektrum-Störung (ASS) und die Betreuung in multifunktionalen Ressourcenräumen, die auf die kognitive, sensomotorische und soziale Entwicklung ausgerichtet sind. Die Methodik war qualitativ und deskriptiv, mit Feldforschung unter Einbeziehung von Grundschulbetreuern in Montes Claros (MG). Das Instrument zur Datenerhebung war ein Fragebogen mit offenen Fragen. Die Studie stützt sich auf Autoren wie Mazzotta (2011), Gonçalves (2021), Hummel (2015) und Bacarin (2020). Die Schlussfolgerung ist, dass Schulen versuchen, Kinder mit ASD einzubeziehen, diskriminierende Praktiken zu minimieren und sonderpädagogische Betreuung zu fördern.
