Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2008 im Fachbereich Germanistik - Linguistik, Note: 1,0, Universität Leipzig (Institut für Germanistik), Veranstaltung: Sprachliche Kommunikation, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: In der populären Sprachkritik der letzten Jahre ist ein Thema immer wieder besonders beliebt und umstritten gewesen: Der Einfluss der englischen Sprache auf unsere Muttersprache. So befürchten einige Sprachkritiker angesichts der vielen Entlehnungen aus dem Englischen gar die Verdrängung und den Untergang des deutschen Idioms. Eine besondere Rolle spielt hierbei die Werbesprache, die neben der Pressesprache als klassisches „Einfallstor' für Anglizismen gilt. Im Gegensatz zu vielen Werbetextern, welche sich durch den gezielten Einsatz von englischem Lehngut eine bessere Werbewirkung versprechen, kritisieren daher viele, „[d]ass Deutsch in Deutschland auf [...] Werbeflächen inzwischen Randsprache ist.' (Hahne 2008: 268)
