Les institutions financières jouent un rôle déterminant dans le développement d’un pays ; suite à leur mission de collecter les épargnes de ceux qui ont des excédents de trésorerie et en octroyant des crédits à ceux qui sont en besoin de financement. La faillite de nombreuses institutions financières observée la fois dernière dans la ville de Goma n’a pas été sans conséquence sur le comportement de certains épargnants.,C’est pourquoi nous avons mené cette recherche dans le domaine financier en abordant cette thématique sur les nouveaux motifs déterminants le choix d’une institution financière par les ménages de la ville de Goma. Pour y parvenir nous nous sommes posé la question de savoir ; les critères déterminants le choix d’une institution financière ou une coopérative par les ménages de la ville de Goma.
