En este libro se recoge un conjunto de casos en los que los proyectos y políticas de desarrollo se convierten en eje de luchas por territorios, recursos y paisajes en Colombia. Al explorar estos conflictos se pone en evidencia que en todos ellos aparece una confrontación entre diferentes formas de producir el sustento, diferentes experiencias de vida y de trabajo, así como diversas maneras de entender el devenir y el futuro. Su estudio se llevó a cabo desde la antropología del desarrollo, en diálogo con la ecología política. Se procuró mostrar la perspectiva de los actores, que normalmente permanece oculta, dando cuenta de su experiencia. Ésta fue la base para la identificación y análisis de los impactos sociales y culturales de estos proyectos y políticas que se identificaron como detonantes de los conflictos estudiados. 10
