La presente investigación analiza de forma comparativa, la regulación de los derechos y los deberes vinculados al ejercicio del periodismo en Bolivia en los diferentes textos constitucionales, desde 1826 hasta el promulgado en el año 2009, fruto del trabajo de un proceso constituyente del cual, se brindan detalles del contexto sociopolítico en que se llevó a cabo.Asimismo, se analiza la influencia que tuvo que tuvo la primera Constitución boliviana en su redacción, la cual se reformó en 17 oportunidades.
