Julia Gasterstädt zeigt die Komplexität von Steuerungsprozessen bei der Entwicklung inklusiver Strukturen in Schulsystemen empirisch fundiert auf. Ausgangspunkt ist die Perspektive der Educational Governance-Forschung, die anhand des Forschungsgegenstandes kritisch reflektiert wird. Dabei werden Leerstellen deutlich, die mit Bezug auf die Theorie sozialer Welten und Arenen sowie die Analyse von Macht und Diskursen bearbeitet werden. Dazu folgt die Autorin methodisch der Situational Analysis nach Adele Clarke als Erweiterung der Grounded Theory Methodologie, deren deren Erkenntnispotentiale für die Analyse von Prozessen der Steuerung in Bildungssystemen aufgezeigt werden. Die Ergebnisse dieser Rekonstruktionen machen eindrücklich deutlich, wie die UN-BRK durch Akteure der Bildungsadministration reinterpretiert wird und daran anschließend innerhalb spezifischer Steuerungslogiken umgesetzt wird.
