Dieses Abschlussprojekt untersucht die Auswirkungen von Erfindungspatenten auf das Wirtschaftswachstum in Tunesien und beleuchtet die komplexen Beziehungen zwischen dem Schutz des geistigen Eigentums, der Innovation und der wirtschaftlichen Entwicklung. Die Studie belegt, dass Patente die Innovation fördern, indem sie Erfindern einen Zeitraum der Exklusivität bieten und so Unternehmen dazu anregen, in Forschung und Entwicklung (FuE) zu investieren. Eine spezifische Analyse für Tunesien zeigt eine positive Korrelation zwischen Patentanmeldungen und Wirtschaftswachstum, trotz anhaltender Herausforderungen im FuE-Sektor. Die Ergebnisse legen nahe, dass die durch Patente angeregte Innovation eine entscheidende Rolle für das nachhaltige Wirtschaftswachstum des Landes spielt. Es gibt jedoch noch Einschränkungen, insbesondere in Bezug auf die Datenverfügbarkeit und die Faktoren, die das Wirtschaftswachstum beeinflussen. Dies ruft nach weiteren Forschungsarbeiten, um die Hindernisse für Innovation und FuE in Tunesien besser zu verstehen und zu überwinden.
