Dear God takes readers on a spiritual journey that begins in darkness with pain, rage and, finally light...Through prayers, meditations, poems and personal insights, readers are with the author as she experiences riding the waves of being in recovery.Certain to touch the deepest parts of the reader via a relatable, witty and intimate presentation. This is not written focusing on religion, it’s about understanding your humanity and connection with something greater than yourself and how to maintain contact with your Higher Power. This book leans into the concept of a God of our own understanding, a personal relationship where the author speaks authentically and vulnerably, while amplifying and personifying deep spiritual truths such as honesty, kindness, generosity and humility.Dear God is a great gift for those in your life who are learning about themselves or in recovery, while exploring deep spiritual themes that ultimately lead to healing.A valuable companion for anyone on a journey of self discovery. This book is a must have, definitely one you’ll want to keep handy.
