Das Internet hat sich durch seine Verhäuslichung massenhaft verbreitet: Wie verlief der Anschaffungsprozess? Wie haben Paare das Internet in ihren Alltag eingefügt und welche Veränderungen brachten mobile Technologien? Wie haben sich die häuslichen Medienrepertoires und Kommunikationskulturen verändert? Diese und weitere Fragen beantwortet die qualitative Langzeitstudie mit Paarhaushalten. In ethnografisch orientierten Haushaltsstudien wurde ein systematisch zusammengestelltes Sample von 25 Paaren zwischen 2008 und 2016 viermal zu ihrem häuslichen Medienhandeln befragt. Ergänzt werden die Befunde durch eine Untersuchung von 16 Paaren der Online-Avantgarde im Jahr 2016.
