Das duale Ausbildungssystem der Gesundheits- und Krankenpflege in Österreich stellt sowohl Lehrende als auch Lernende vor neue Herausforderungen. Die Vermittlung von reflexiven Fähigkeiten im Zusammenhang mit sozialen Kompetenzen gewinnen demnach immer mehr an Bedeutung. Durch Reflexion können der eigene Lern- und Handlungsprozess kritisch hinterfragt und Lerninhalte vertieft werden. Das Lerntagebuch wird dabei als Instrument zur Selbstreflexion eingesetzt, womit der Lernbedarf erhoben, Handlungsprozesse dokumentiert und Verknüpfungen zum aktuellem Wissen und zur beruflichen Praxis hergestellt werden könnnen. Es stellt sich dabei vor allem die Frage, ob das Lerntagebuch den Theorie Praxis Transfer optimieren und die Reflexion zur eigenen Person, Handlung und zum Lernprozess verbessern kann. Die Autorin zeigt in einem qualiatitiven Forschungsansatz die Reflexionsfähigkeit von Pflegeschüler/innen auf und evaluiert den Einsatz des Lerntagebuches im Setting der praktischen Ausbildung.
