CROSSING THE WILD PACIFICIs a true adventure story based on the Captain’s Log of the Yachi Argo and its passage from Florida to New Zealand. It describes the 'how to...', as well as a description of the seas, lands and people encountered during the 10,000 mile voyage to the South Pacific.`About the Author Robert R. (Randy) Tisch and his wife, Rebecca, reside in Ann Arbor, Michigan. They began their boating career on the Great Lakes in 1992 and circumnavigated Lakes Superior, Michigan and Huron. After leaving their professions in 2009, they purchased their first trans-ocean cruiser, and have since traveled over 50,000 ocean miles from Alaska to Newfoundland, and from Newfoundland to New Zealand. Randy holds a USCG Captain’s license. During his professional life, Randy built a successful investment management practice and ultimately sold it to a public company prior to beginning his ocean cruising experiences. Rebecca is a pediatric ophthalmologist.
