Abstract concepts of soul´s journey from infinity into the limitations of time and matter are given expression in the form of sculptures. The underlying theme is liberation, spiritual evolution, and aspiration for a resolution of opposing forces of duality into balance and harmony of oneness.Combined with meditations and NASA space photographs, these sculptures convey a search for meaning of an individual life in the context of vastness of the infinite Cosmos.Combining these sculptures with music, Mirtala has created a video 'Mandalas'. 'Mirtala´s imagery is powerful. Her bronzes image an inward journey through a spiritual landscape signposted with visionary insights' The TIMES of India 'To view the work of Mirtala is to renew one´s spirit' The Lowell Sun 'Her sculptures allow the viewer to see beyond the form into the language of light and shadow, to the reality of intangible truths' East-West Journal
