Neste trabalho, foi desenvolvido um sistema baseado na Web para fazer corresponder as necessidades de emprego aos perfis dos candidatos a emprego.O Uganda Management Institute Kampala foi escolhido como caso de estudo devido à sua localização estratégica, à sua grande dimensão e à sua capacidade de empregados. O sistema desenvolvido destinava-se a poupar tempo e a reduzir os custos incorridos pelos empregadores no processo de correspondência entre os requisitos do emprego e os perfis dos candidatos e de os candidatos a emprego encontrarem os empregos certos. Para atingir os objectivos pretendidos, foram utilizadas entrevistas e revisão da literatura para a recolha de dados, de modo a obter conhecimentos sobre os sistemas de correspondência de empregos existentes; a questão orientadora da investigação foi 'qual é o contributo da tecnologia baseada na Web para a eficácia do processo de recrutamento nas organizações?'
