L’auteur peut estimer la convergence de la productivité et calculer la vitesse de convergence. Le modèle de données se compose de 773 observations dans l’industrie alimentaire de 2000 à 2012. Les résultats de ce travail indiquent qu’il existe des preuves solides de la convergence de la productivité entre les entreprises de l’industrie alimentaire. Cela peut s’expliquer la même année par la migration des travailleurs hautement qualifiés vers les entreprises à forte productivité et l’imitation des entreprises à faible technologie sans succès.
