The current research focuses on the representation of the editorials in order to discuss the policies of the two prominent and widely read English dailies of Karachi namely Daily Times and Daily The Nation so as to portray their objectives, goals, stance on affairs and the kind of portrayal towards audience and readers. Media are one of the biggest powers in the society that fulfills an important part in design and functioning of society and also towards playing the crucial role of bringing change in the society. Mass media can damage any society or can bring progress in any society . In bringing change in the society, the major function is performed by the press of any country. One of the most crucial parts in this purpose are editorials of any newspaper which are the opinionated stance of any newspaper of the editors portraying the views of the owners or policy of the organisation.
