Cet ouvrage présente la conception, l’analyse et la synthèse d’un capteur de gaz de monoxyde de carbone à base de silicium utilisant la technologie MEMS. L’accent est mis sur l’étude de la température de la microplaque chauffante par rapport à la variation de la puissance, car l’analyte est sensible à un gaz spécifique à haute température. L’approche générale suivie dans ce travail consiste à explorer la possibilité d’utiliser une microplaque chauffante pour détecter le gaz. Pour compléter la conception du capteur, l’analyse est la partie vitale car elle montre la distribution de la température dans la microplaque chauffante. Pour réaliser l’objectif de ce livre, un capteur de gaz de monoxyde de carbone à base de silicium pour la détection chimique est conçu et simulé. Le film de détection utilisé pour la détection du monoxyde de carbone est un film d’oxyde d’étain. Il est largement utilisé dans les applications de capteurs de gaz car il est sensible à des gaz spécifiques à des températures élevées. Afin d’atteindre une température de fonctionnement aussi élevée, une microstructure appelée microplaque chauffante a été mise au point.
