Las representaciones sobre convivencia y conflicto social constituyen un punto de partida para adentrarse en la génesis de las alteraciones del comportamiento escolar (Brennan y Lo, 2011). Factores bioquímicos, psicológicos y sociales fundamentan las experiencias de vida y los patrones de comportamiento replicados por el aprendizaje social (Palomino y Dagua, 2009). Teóricos del desarrollo social humano abordan las relaciones entre las instituciones sociales y las experiencias de los individuos como mecanismo para incidir en los procesos educativos (Vargas et al., 2007). En consecuencia, las tendencias conflictivas de algunos individuos serán mediadas por los procesos educativos, los conocimientos adquiridos y la formación integral impartida por el contexto en que se desarrollen (Sandoval, 2014).
