Jacobus Facciolati, qui hunc librum scripsit, erat grammaticus et lexicographus Italicus, qui in academia Patavina docuit. In hac editione, Facciolati regulas et praecepta grammaticae Graecae explicat, et exempla ex antiquis scriptoribus Graecis et Latinis adhibet, ut discipuli linguam Graecam facilius comprehendere possint.
