Dans le cadre de ce mémoire, les deux adaptations cinématographiques de l’œuvre de King sont principalement discutées et comparées. À partir de ces deux films, l’évolution des méthodes audiovisuelles du film d’horreur sera analysée. Dans un premier temps, les deux films eux-mêmes seront étudiés afin de donner au lecteur un aperçu des données, des succès, etc. Ensuite, nous présenterons un aperçu de l’histoire du film d’horreur et de ses représentants les plus connus, ainsi que quelques réflexions psychologiques sur le thème de la peur dans le contexte de l’effet produit par le film d’horreur. La partie principale de ce travail est consacrée à l’image et au son des deux adaptations cinématographiques de Ça .
