However, it’s important to keep in mind this is a work of fiction. Everyone deals with trauma differently and there’s no 'correct' way to survive and eventually thrive. Some people (like myself) can make a lot of questionable choices and spend years in therapy. Others are lucky enough to find a support system that can be just as effective. The most vital thing in this long life is to find a way that works for you.
