One who stands out unwilling.Glistening white hair in the middle of a sea of raven warriors often made me stand out like the guy who was left puking in the closest latrine. I am Captain Ror half blood born between the Black Hair tribe, elite warrior hunters, and the Rested tribe, powerful and cruel sorcerers, better known as Pulse Riders. Magic in Whisehitel is called pulse and only those born of the Rested tribe are capable of it. I lead a life of endless journeys in an attempt to fulfill my prophecy; a prophecy that has left me celibate for nearly fifteen years. The next woman I kiss will become queen of the Black Hair tribe. Disaster could be my fate if I choose the wrong woman and every woman around me has immoral character reputations. To make matters worse no one in either tribe knows of this prophecy, else I would be attacked by hordes of women desperate to rule.
