Na monografia são estudados os princípios de formação e desenvolvimento de centros públicos na parte histórica das cidades do oásis de Zarafshan. O estudo da formação dos centros comunitários nas cidades do oásis de Zarafshan é atualmente relevante na implementação de propostas de base científica nos projectos de reconstrução das cidades. Infelizmente, a demolição de centros públicos que garantem a integridade da cidade antiga, o desenvolvimento muito mal sucedido da antiga cidade histórica, a desintegração completa de centros públicos com edifícios de estilos completamente diferentes construídos em torno dos conjuntos de centros públicos nos séculos passados reduz significativamente a impressão monumental de estruturas históricas e arquitectónicas. Isto não significa que o amplo espaço entre os centros públicos deva ser reconstruído e não desenvolvido, mas que deve ser feito com uma compreensão plena da complexidade da tarefa criativa, mantendo as proporções de escala e as vistas dos monumentos arquitectónicos recentemente construídos.
