In recent years, he has dedicated himself to tea culture research, authoring seminal works including Wuyi Rock Tea, Wuyi Tea and Wellness, Oolong Tea: Art and Craft, and Beiyuan Tribute Tea: Legacy of Imperial Tea. He also served as the chief compiler of authoritative compendiums such as The Iron Goddess of Mercy Compendium and The Wuyi Tea Compendium.
