À l’heure où les technologies transforment l’ensemble du marché du travail, les relations entre les salariés et les entreprises évoluent. L’objectif de cette étude est de déterminer si les attitudes des professionnels entrant sur le marché du travail correspondent davantage à l’idée d’une carrière traditionnelle ou à l’idée d’une carrière autodirigée ou protéiforme, de connaître leur niveau de satisfaction à l’égard de leur carrière, de leur profession et de leur emploi, et de voir comment ces variables sont liées aux ancres de carrière. Dans un premier temps, une étude théorique a été menée sur les concepts de carrière et de satisfaction au travail. Dans cette optique, le concept de Protean Career de HALL (1976) et le modèle de Career Anchors de SCHEIN (1990), entre autres instruments, ont été adoptés. Cette recherche a impliqué 113 professionnels de différents postes et entreprises, des étudiants de premier cycle, de troisième cycle et de master dans des écoles publiques.
