Finora la 'sindrome da burnout' è stata considerata quasi esclusivamente dal punto di vista individuale. Tuttavia, le istituzioni odierne devono confrontarsi sempre più spesso con il nuovo approccio del burnout collettivo, caratterizzato principalmente da sintomi quali mancanza di energia, calo delle prestazioni e, come conseguenza ultima, divisioni all’interno del team.
