Dans le cadre de ce travail, une approche scientifique a été adoptée pour l’identification personnelle à l’aide d’images des lèvres. Cette étude examine la possibilité que les empreintes labiales soient héréditaires, qu’elles soient uniques à chaque personne et qu’elles puissent être classées comme possédant des caractéristiques individuelles ou non, ainsi que le fait que les empreintes labiales puissent être analysées dans le but d’identifier positivement un individu. Toutes les mesures des lèvres ont été testées et authentifiées par une analyse statistique.
