The aim of this book is to educate the readers about bioactive food peptides and provide information regarding their production and health benefits. The long term use of conventional drugs like corticosteroids has some probable side effects which has generated a wave of concern in experts. Herbal therapy is relatively economical, easily available and becoming popular among people throughout the world. However, such disciplines have both pros and cons. Faulty diagnosis without consulting any expert may lead to wrong choice of herbal remedy or product and may have severe results. Some sections of the society are deprived of the modern medical treatment and they prefer traditional herbal therapies. Inappropriate quantity and choice may have adverse effects in such cases. Hence, herbal therapies need good knowledge about competence, cautions and efficiency of such products. Therefore, it becomes important to have a standard data regarding the utility of herbal therapies and to educate medical professionals about each factor related to them.
