Web Mining Service to propozycja nowej usługi służącej do przechowywania i udostępniania informacji oraz danych dotyczących historii przeglądania i zachowań użytkowników. Usługa zapewnia użytkownikom możliwość przechowywania informacji o własnych doświadczeniach związanych z korzystaniem z systemów internetowych oraz gromadzenia informacji o doświadczeniach innych użytkowników. Sercem WMS jest serwer wyposażony w system zarządzania bazami danych oraz serwer aplikacji wykorzystujący rozwiązanie firmy Sun o nazwie GlassFish. To rozwiązanie zapewnia wszystkie niezbędne narzędzia i technologie do wdrożenia projektu o takich funkcjach. System podstawowy udostępnia API do przechowywania i pobierania informacji o zachowaniu użytkowników. Jako dowód działania API i systemu podstawowego stworzono rozszerzenie do przeglądarki Google Chrome oraz inny moduł. Moduł ten wyświetla zebrany plik dziennika. Stworzyliśmy moduł, który analizuje zebrane publiczne pliki logów i przedstawia wyniki na różnych wykresach. Stworzyłem moduł View Statics, który wykorzystuje dotychczasowe doświadczenia klientów do przewidywania czasu odpowiedzi na kolejne żądania użytkowników. To rozszerzenie pobiera informacje o ostatnich próbkach czasu odpowiedzi dla danego adresu URL i oblicza średnią wartość, aby przewidzieć następną wartość.
