Die korrekte Ausrichtung der Zähne hängt von verschiedenen Faktoren ab. Einer davon ist das Gleichgewicht der Kräfte, die von den Lippen und der Zunge auf die dentoalveolären Strukturen ausgeübt werden. Die Bewertung der Dauer und Intensität dieser Kräfte sowie des Ortes, an dem sie ausgeübt werden, erfolgt routinemäßig subjektiv, was zu Ungenauigkeiten bei der Diagnose führt. Objektive Methoden zur Messung der beim Schlucken auf die Zähne einwirkenden Kräfte würden eine größere diagnostische Sicherheit für Logopäden und Kieferorthopäden ermöglichen. Ziel dieser Masterarbeit war es daher, ein Messsystem zu entwickeln und zu erproben, mit dem die auf einen Zahn wirkenden Kräfte in Ruhe und beim Schlucken von Speichel unter Einwirkung von Lippen und Zunge gemessen werden können.
