Berrington Follow the story of Sarah Castleton, a young woman who had to go and live with her Aunt and Uncle after her beloved father had died. She was not welcome and it was plain to see. She goes to live with her mother’s friend, she never knew her mother, but Mrs Jacob’s told her about her and did the best she could to do, to look after her friends daughter on the little she had. Sarah finds employment as a governess and has to leave London behind and move into the unknown of Yorkshire, where she arrives at Berrington Manor.
