 The fishing village of Windflower Hale has a long and mysterious history, nestled between black rocks and a yellow sandy shore. Benny, never curious before, becomes fascinated by Rosie and the flowers she carries in a covered basket. As Benny grows old and falls ill, he longs to see these flowers before he passes. Rosie brings him the mysterious basket filled with beautiful blooms, and Benny understands the mystery and beauty he has yearned for all his life before he passes. This heartfelt, allegorical seaside tale explores life’s larger themes in a simple story. A 28-page book.
