Inhaltsangabe:Gang der Untersuchung: Der in Kapitel A erarbeitete Definitionsrahmen 'IS' wird im folgenden Kapitel B mit dem Bild des IS in afrikanischen EL gefüllt: Es wird aufgezeigt, wie der IS entsteht und wie seine Mikrostruktur aussieht. Auf Basis dieser Kenntnisse über den IS kann dieser dann in Kapitel C in den makroökonomischen Zusammenhang eingeordnet werden. Nach einer Darstellung der zwischen IS und FS bestehenden wirtschaftlichen Zusammenhänge erfolgt die Diskussion der grundsätzlichen Bedeutung des IS für die gesamte Volkswirtschaft in EL Afrikas. Kapitel D geht anschließend genauer auf die Art und Bedeutung dynamischer Aspekte des IS ein. Unternehmensspezifische Gründe evolutionären Wachstums im IS und daraus abgeleitete wirtschaftspolitische Implikationen werden am Fallbeispiel des kenianischen IS dargestellt. Kapitel E rundet die Arbeit mit weiterführenden Gedanken zum Thema ab.
