O estudo revelou uma diferença altamente significativa dos níveis de CXCL13, Anti-CarP, Anti-CCP e RF entre os doentes com AR e os controlos com um valor de p = 0,000. O CXCL13 demonstrou uma boa especificidade (83%) e uma elevada sensibilidade (93%) para os doentes com AR, enquanto os anticorpos anti-CarP demonstraram uma baixa sensibilidade (39%) e uma elevada especificidade (98%) para o diagnóstico de AR. Os doentes com AR têm uma positividade de 71,7% e 36,7% para FR e Anti-CarP, respetivamente, enquanto o grupo saudável tem 11,7% e 1,7%, respetivamente. Os níveis séricos de CXCL13, anti-CarP e ACCP não se correlacionaram significativamente com o DAS28-ESR e o CDAI, indicando que estes biomarcadores não são eficazes na previsão da atividade da AR.
