A eslicarbazepina é uma nova terapia complementar introduzida no mercado indiano em abril de 2011 para o tratamento de crises parciais. Apesar de possuir um forte conjunto de evidências e aprovação da EMEA, o uso clínico desta molécula não está de acordo com as expectativas. Através deste trabalho de investigação, pretendemos tentar compreender os fatores psicológicos e ambientais (efeito do grupo de pares) subjacentes que restringem o potencial da molécula. O foco principal do meu trabalho foi a AVALIAÇÃO DO USO CLÍNICO DA ESLICARBAZEPINA NO TRATAMENTO DE CONVULSÕES PARCIAIS. Este projeto me proporcionou imensas oportunidades para aprimorar meus conhecimentos relacionados à área de marketing e também me deu a chance de aprender e compreender as estratégias que devem ser levadas em consideração ao criar uma nova molécula para antiepilépticos.
