O presente proxecto de investigación céntrase no estudo da realidade no referente á educación afectivo-sexual contextualizada na formación profesional, en concreto no módulo 'Próteses completas', impartido no IES Lamas de Abade, situado no municipio Santiago de Compostela. O obxectivo primordial deste estudo é desenvolver o coñecemento da sociedade na que vivimos (a nivel afectivo - sexual) e analizar o estado da cuestión en canto ás prácticas de educación afectivo-sexual existentes na nosa contorna. A investigación levase a cabo en base ao traballo de campo realizado en dito centro educativo seguindo unha metodoloxía mixta, utilizando o cuestionario e a entrevista como técnicas principais para a obtención de datos. Finalízase o estudo concluíndo que os elementos implementados que caracterizan a práctica educativa e que se reflicten na realidade diaria non coinciden na súa totalidade coas concepcións aconsellables de educación sexual integral propiciadas polos diferentes autores expertos na materia.
