Sobre IBD

Im Jahr 2004, als ich die australische Staatsbürgerschaft erhielt, beschloss ich, einen zweiten Master-Abschluss zu machen. Meine Wahl fiel auf einen Master of Business Administration. Der Grund dafür war, dass ich zum Studiendirektor einer privaten Hochschule für Englischunterricht in Sydney, Australien, ernannt worden war. Abgesehen davon, dass ich zuvor als Senior Teacher und IELTS-Koordinator tätig war, hatte ich keine Erfahrung im Management. Im Jahr 2005 schloss ich dieses Postgraduiertenstudium mit Auszeichnung in Finanzmanagement ab. Seit 2005 habe ich mich bemüht, ein weiteres Studium im Bereich Finanzen zu absolvieren. Dies geschah erst 2017, als sich mir die Möglichkeit bot, meine Arbeit zu unterbrechen und ein Stipendium zu erhalten, um in Finanzbuchhaltung zu promovieren. Vor 2017 hatte ich für die Commonwealth und die Westpac Bank in Australien gearbeitet. Außerdem hatte ich für zwei Hypothekenmakler in Sydney gearbeitet. Alles in allem hat diese Berufserfahrung mein Interesse an der Finanzbuchhaltung und der Verwendung von Kennzahlen gefestigt. Diese Verbindung zwischen dem Thema dieses Buches und meinem Hintergrund erklärt nicht die Wahl meines Studienobjekts in diesem Buch - d. h. indigene Unternehmen. In Wirklichkeit ist es mein afrikanisches Erbe.
