Este estudo procurou investigar o efeito da utilização das técnicas de Ensino Virtual em Direto na Sala de Aula (VLIT) e de Ensino Virtual à Distância (VDT) na capacidade de escrita dos alunos de EFL, em comparação com a técnica de Ensino Tradicional (TT). A análise estatística dos resultados revelou que havia uma diferença estatisticamente significativa entre a capacidade de escrita dos alunos de EFL que estavam envolvidos no TT, VLIT e VDT. Uma análise mais aprofundada indicou que havia uma diferença estatisticamente significativa entre as pontuações de ganho de escrita dos alunos dos três grupos. Em suma, os resultados revelaram o efeito positivo e motivador da tecnologia em geral, e do VLIT e do VDT em particular, na capacidade de escrita dos alunos de EFL.
