Isto gera uma confusão total na mente dos adolescentes e os tabus sexuais tornam-se um sentimento de grande misticismo na sua mente. Os adolescentes sentem uma grande ansiedade devido a um conhecimento insuficiente da sua evolução sexual e das concepções erradas sobre o sexo e a sua forma. A educação sexual ajudaria os estudantes a desenvolver uma atitude positiva em relação ao sexo, se as suas dúvidas fossem esclarecidas de forma honesta e científica. Os adolescentes têm tantos mitos sobre os seus sistemas de desenvolvimento orgânico, as mudanças corporais, os efeitos hormonais no sistema reprodutor, a maturidade cronológica e os seus impactos fisiológicos que, quando ficam ansiosos, stressados e sobrepressurizados, não têm ninguém para os ajudar, orientar e explicar os diferentes factos da relação rapaz-rapariga para lidar com os seus desejos sexuais. Tendo em conta todas estas considerações, o investigador está interessado em planear um estudo sobre a atitude dos pais e professores dos alunos do ensino secundário em relação à educação sexual.
