O objetivo deste trabalho é comparar os fluxos turísticos em dois países, Alemanha e República Checa. Embora existam muitos artigos sobre a procura turística, quase todos eles tratam do estudo de caso de apenas um país e não fazem comparações entre países. A primeira parte do trabalho apresenta os termos gerais com definições e classificação estatística da procura turística. A parte principal do trabalho é dedicada à investigação econométrica que descobre a procura turística da Alemanha e da República Checa e procura determinantes macroeconómicos que possam influenciar o número de viagens de férias para o estrangeiro. A última parte resume os resultados que, devido aos diferentes padrões de vida na Alemanha e na República Checa, são interessantes e demonstram que o comportamento dos turistas alemães e checos varia consideravelmente.
