About me. My name is Joy Coon I was born in Johnson City, Kansas. I am the seventh kid in a family of fifteen. My dad is a pastor and has been involved in the ministry for over thirty years. He currently pastors Solid Rock Baptist Church in St Francis, Kansas. I accepted Christ as my Savior when I was eight years old. Not long after I became a bookworm and so my love for writing and reading a good story grew. I attended college at Cornerstone Bible Institute in Hot Springs, South Dakota.
